Fourways is a self catering cottage in the village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. It can accommodate from 2 people requiring a spacious cottage, to the normal set up sleeping 6 in one twin and two double bedrooms. The cottage is well equipped with central heating as well as a coal fire. For those who bring their car, many beautiful areas of the Yorkshire Dales are close by and the Lake District is within easy reach.
The cottage provides off road parking for 2 cars but is also suitable for people who wish to leave their cars at home and escape to the Dales for a slower pace of holiday. The station at Horton-in-Ribblesdale is on the famous Leeds-Settle-Carlisle line and provides easy rail access across some spectacular scenery.
Horton-in-Ribblesdale is in the centre of the Three Peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales and walks to two of the peaks; Pen-y-ghent and Ingleborough start from the village. The Pen-y-ghent Cafe outdoor shop and Tourist Information Centre caters for the needs of walkers.
Food can be purchased from the village store or from supermarkets in the nearby town of Settle. Otherwise, your main food shopping for your holiday can be ordered in advance from Tesco.com who deliver to the village. For eating out the Crown Hotel, is only a 5 minute stroll from the house and serves delicious meals.
